Point sound source - coaxial design
The coaxial chassis is designed with a unique arrangement that aligns the sound elements on a single axis. Unlike a standard system, where the tweeter and bass/mid-range diaphragm are separate entities, in this design, the tweeter is positioned at the center of the bass/mid-range diaphragm in the reference line chassis.
This configuration offers several advantages over traditional speaker systems. One key advantage is that the shape of the woofer/midrange diaphragm acts as a waveformer for the tweeter. This means that the sound is evenly directed towards the listening position, minimizing the influence of room acoustics. As a result, you can enjoy a more accurate and immersive listening experience.
Furthermore, the coaxial speaker functions as a true point sound source. This allows for a significantly wider range of movement during listening. Unlike speakers with separate tweeters and woofers, any differences in sound arrival time between the individual paths are eliminated. This ensures a more coherent and precise sound reproduction.
