B500-Reference Subwoofer
The B500-Subextension is a compact mono subwoofer designed to enhance the bass performance of the A-Line series and the C-100-Reference monitor.
The B500-Subextension expands the KSD monitors by adding depth to the lowest octave. The subwoofer features two high-performance eight-inch drivers powered by 500W PWM amplifiers, all controlled by the DSP in the Mainmonitors. Together with the main tops, the B500 creates a large monitoring system with the best adaption to the control room acoustics and sufficient performance for a really great experience.

To ensure a controlled and powerful reproduction of deep bass frequencies, the B500-Subextension is controlled via the XLR sub-output of the main monitor. This results in stress-free, detailed bass reproduction without any distortion or excessive pumping. The digital signal processor linearizes the frequency response, while internal filters allow for precise tuning to the room and application. Additionally, the adjustable delay compensates for any spatial offset between the B500-Reference and the satellites.
The B500-Reference’s specially designed high-performance drivers, housed in an optimized steel enclosure, produce an extremely controlled and „dry“ bass signal, eliminating unwanted ventilation noises.
